Wills, Trusts, and Life Insurance

Requests are donations that are made through a will or a living trust. You can donate to the Wounded Warrior Project through your estate planning by naming the Wounded Warrior Project in your will for a specific amount or a percentage share in your estate. Another option is to name the Wounded Warrior Project as the beneficiary of your estate after the payment of bequests to others. The process is very simple for most bequests. Please refer to the WWP “Sample Bequest Language.” As always, we suggest consulting a legal advisor when drafting a will.

Another way to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project is to name our organization as the beneficiary of an existing or new life insurance plan. This is a low-cost option, and your premium payments may be tax-deductible. The Wounded Warrior Project must be named as the owner and beneficiary of the insurance policy for it to be tax-deductible.
