The 2010 Whitefish ski event has been made possible through a generous grant by Oritani Bank. On February 3, 2010, six severely injured service members from New Jersey will be coming to Whitefish as guests of the community to learn to ski with the adapted instructors at Whitefish Mountain Resort’s ski school.

The event is being organized by a growing group of Whitefish residents, veterans, business owners, and Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). WWP exists to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members. It is WWP’s goal to ensure this generation of warriors is the most successful, well-adjusted generation of veterans in our nation’s history.

Whitefish Mountain Resort is sponsoring their tickets, lessons and rentals. More information and tickets for public events will be available shortly.
