Ronald Burgess, a Vietnam veteran, brings extensive experience in finance and accounting leadership to Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) as chief financial officer. In this role, Ron is responsible for all WWP financial strategy and, in concert with the entire executive team, assists in the development and execution of WWP’s strategic plan.
Most recently he served as executive vice president and CFO of Duos Technologies, a high-tech provider of security solutions. Prior to joining WWP, Ron held executive level financial positions with Duos Technologies in Jacksonville; Key Technology in Walla Walla, Washington; Roseburg Forest Products in Roseburg, Oregon; and Harris Corporation, headquartered in Melbourne, Florida. Ron began his career in public accounting with KPMG.

Ron and his wife, Catharina, reside in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. They have four adult children who all live outside the area with their growing families.
