Soldier Ride™ Community Rides

ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING SOLDIER RIDE CHANGES

At Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP), we constantly evaluate our fundraising efforts and ensure we’re spending donor dollars effectively so we can continue to develop and provide life-changing programs for Wounded Warriors and their families. The decision was made to no longer continue the registered ride portion of Soldier Ride. This was a tough decision made through a thoughtful and careful evaluation process.

Soldier Ride has always been and will remain a powerful WWP program that provides crucial physical health and wellness benefits to Wounded Warriors. We will now sharpen our focus on injured service members and continue to coordinate Soldier Ride as a unique adaptive cycling experience that honors our military men and women as they courageously battle the physical and psychological damages of war.

If you have registered for or donated to a specific community ride, the Soldier Ride team will be reaching out to you in the upcoming days. Thank you so much for supporting our nation’s Wounded Warriors and Soldier Ride.

Volunteer opportunities at Soldier Ride:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with WWP at Soldier Ride. WWP mobilizes volunteers through online communities called “outposts,” which are specific to geographic areas. Our Soldier Ride volunteers assist WWP teammates with working event registration, cheering on the warriors and participants, and manning water stops. All volunteer opportunities for the above rides will be posted in individual outposts, which will be launched shortly. We encourage you to check back in a few weeks. Thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you.
