There is no discount for fundraising. However, you will receive a thank you gift if you raise $500 or more at least one week before the event.

We continuously strive to keep administrative and fundraising costs associated with the operation of WWP as low as possible. Based on our FY2011 audited financial statements ending September 30, 2011, 82.8% of total expenditures went to provide services and programs for our Wounded Warriors and their families. We're proud to far exceed the Better Business Bureau's minimum standard of $0.65 for every dollar. We're consistently working to improve our efficiency and better serve warriors. Refreshments will be present at each event for race participants. Food and beverages will not be provided for spectators, but additional food may be for sale. Will vary by location.

There is no late registration penalty, however, there is an early registration discount of $10. Early registration will end one month prior to the event. If you miss online registration, day of registration will be available starting at 7:00am at the event.

The first place male and female times overall will receive a special award. The first place male and female in each age division will also receive an award.

We cannot guarantee that warriors will be present at each event.

Unfortunately, we are not welcoming bikes at these events.

We do our best to make sure that all levels of athletes can complete each race course however, these are outdoor road runs. We do ask that you personally check out the route before registering to ensure safe completion.

Yes, everyone has the opportunity to start or join a team! Once registered for the run, you will receive information in your registration confirmation email about a useful online tool where you will have the opportunity to start or join a team as you work to meet your individual fundraising requirement. Please remember that each individual must register for the run and agree to raise a minimum of $99, but forming a team is a great way to support each other through your fundraising efforts. Use the promo code “TEAM” to receive a $5 discount off registration if you plan to start or join a team.

We do not guarantee local media coverage, however, we have had much interest in the past and anticipate media coverage at each event.

This event is rain or shine! We hope it’s sunny on race day, but please be prepared with your rain gear and join us in supporting our Wounded Warriors.

We would love for you to come to the event and cheer on your friends and family. We encourage you to join the runners near the start/finish lines to encourage them as they begin the race and again as they cross the finish line.

We will have a booth set up at each event with WWP gear available for purchase.

Yes, there will be a 1K Fun Run option for kids 12 and under.

Students can register at a discount price using the promo code “STUDENT”.  A valid student ID will be required at check-in/packet pickup.

Wounded Warrior Project, Inc. will allow the use of strollers in the 8K Run. You acknowledge, understand and agree that the use of strollers is at your own risk. You acknowledge, agree and understand, on behalf of the minor in the stroller, that the minor in the stroller is subject to the terms and conditions of the Accident Waiver, Release of Liability and Hold Harmless form. If you are pushing a stroller please line up toward the back of the start of the race to avoid congestion.
