It’s simple! Visit our fundraising page here. Choose your fundraising type, enter your fundraiser information, set up your fundraising page and receive access to a Download Center with promotional templates and resources. You can also send out emails to your friends, family, and coworkers.

You can do mostly anything you can think of! We enjoy seeing all types of creative ideas from our supporters! We have seen golf tournaments, spirit weeks, 5k races, weddings, concerts, and more that have been turned into fundraisers. We are not able to support fundraisers that are sexual or political in nature, based on cause marketing campaigns or promotions (percent/portion of proceeds/sales), alcohol or drug based, or soliciting donations.

We have a Student Ambassadors initiative that is geared towards schools and students. If you are a student, school advisor or staff member and would like to get involved with raising funds and awareness for WWP through your school, athletic team, or as an individual, we invite you to register as Student Ambassadors here. You will be able to set up a fundraising page and receive access to a Download Center with promotional templates and resources!

Please make the donation via credit card directly onto your online giving page you created when you registered or download the Event Donation Tracking Form, print, enter your information and send in with your donation.

Sign up as a Community Athlete! Raise funds and awareness for WWP by participating in a local 5K, marathon, triathlon, sporting tournament, workout competition, or by setting your own endurance goal. You will receive a special WWP jersey once you reach a $500 fundraising goal.

WWP is unable to approve a fundraiser that promotes that a “percentage” or “portion” of “proceeds” or “sales” will be given to WWP, as this type of effort relates to cause marketing and is highly regulated. On your application, please state that your fundraiser will be “benefiting Wounded Warrior Project” or “a donation will be made to Wounded Warrior Project,” rather than promoting a percentage or portion of proceeds or sales. You can even ask a “suggested donation”.

Yes – If you are planning to have your fundraiser as an annual event, we ask you to re-register each year. This way, we can issue you a specific Fundraiser ID so that we can properly track and thank you for your fundraising efforts!

In an effort to ensure the highest percentage of each dollar you raise goes directly towards services to warriors and their families, we have created online, customizable and printable resources for you to utilize for your fundraising. These are available to registered fundraisers through our Download Center.

Registered fundraisers are allowed exclusive access to the WWP Proud Supporter logo and word mark. Log in to the Community Fundraising Center and click the Download Center to access those images. Before placing the logo on any materials, items or apparel, please be sure to read the logo guidelines document.

WWP cannot issue tax receipts for the value of an individual's time, goods or services donated to your fundraiser, as these items are not deductible under federal tax law and therefore are not eligible for a tax receipt. We can only acknowledge checks written to Wounded Warrior Project directly.

WWP cannot issue tax receipts for your fundraiser’s sponsors, nor can WWP accept sponsor funds and funnel those funds back to the fundraiser organizer.

WWP cannot refund or reimburse any expenses related to third party fundraising efforts.

While WWP truly values your interest, we are unable to allocate funds to a specific hospital, military branch, or geographic region. To meet the ever-changing needs of our warriors, we place all gifts into a general fund. This allows us to use these gifts where they can have the greatest impact and are the most effective way to support our warriors worldwide.

We would be happy to see if someone is available to attend your fundraiser. Once your fundraiser is registered, please email and we will send you a representative request form to fill out. Please note: WWP is a national charity based out of Jacksonville, FL, not a chapter-based organization. WWP staff in regional offices’ priority is to provide services that make a difference and save lives of wounded veterans and their families in their area. We cannot guarantee WWP representation at every fundraiser and recommend utilizing amazing, impactful videos that can be found on WWP’s YouTube channel.

WWP is unable to provide lists of warriors and family members due to protection of privacy. Alumni can view registered community fundraisers that are listed on our Fundraising Map on WWP’s main website. Please be sure to keep the “Show online” box checked when registering.

While we don’t have a formal volunteer program, you can help us fuel our mission by hosting a fundraiser. If you would like to learn more about becoming a Proud Supporter by hosting an event to benefit WWP, please visit

We kindly ask that you do not reach out to our corporate sponsors to donate to your fundraiser. Each of our partners are already making significant contributions directly to our organization and the warriors we serve.

To create a fundraising page, you will need to register your fundraiser here. Select your fundraiser type, fill out some information about your efforts, and a fundraising page is automatically created upon registering. You can add a fundraising goal and pictures to create a compelling story to share with your family, friends and coworkers!

An individual page is for those who wish to fundraise individually and/or for fundraisers that need ONE single giving page for people to donate to. A team page is best for those who wish to have multiple people create their own individual fundraising pages that link to one, overall team page.
