Honor injured veterans by completing your own Soldier Ride!
For over the past decade, the Long Island community has come together each July to show support for wounded warriors and their families by riding alongside them in the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Soldier Ride®.
Since now more than ever wounded warriors still need our support, we’ve made the decision to move Soldier Ride to a virtual ride and fundraiser this year. We’re giving you the same patriotic spirit and opportunity to support wounded warriors and their families, but with your own small group and route!
HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR OWN SOLDIER RIDE
Pick a day from now until August 31 that works for you — and decide if you want to organize your Soldier Ride as a solo ride or with friends and family (cycling 6 feet apart, of course!).
REGISTER & PLAN
Register as a solo participant or form a team. Plan your Soldier Ride details including date, route, location, and fundraising goal.
Reach your fundraising goal by asking friends and family to give or join in as a participant. Be sure to tap into these creative fundraising ideas to make the most of your impact. Your fundraising will also be rewarded with exclusive WWP gear!
GET READY & GO
We’ll send you a digital bib and exclusive 2020 Soldier Ride T-shirt to show our appreciation for your commitment to wounded warriors.
Wounded Warrior Project will share a portion of funds raised during the Soldier Ride NY Virtual Community Ride to support COVID-19 relief efforts at Long Island hospitals.
