Advisory Council Member
Scott Peters is an experienced chief executive officer with an impressive 34-year track record that includes spearheading significant financial and operational turnarounds for both private equity-owned and public companies. Peters is currently president and chief executive officer at Primeritus Financial Services Inc., the leading provider of recovery, repossession management, skip tracing, and remarketing services. He joined the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Advisory Council in 2015.
Prior to Primeritus, Peters was the president and chief executive officer at Ability Resources. He significantly improved the financial position of Ability Resources by adding additional service offerings and implementing an active sales and expense management program. He also boosted company performance through effective process management and the reorganization of multi-site operations.
Before Ability, Peters was the president and chief executive officer of Generation Mortgage Company. During his tenure, he led a $30 million financial and operational turnaround, increased revenue eight times, and earned several business excellence awards for the company. Peters also served in increasingly senior executive roles at MassMutual, General Electric Capital, The Profit Recovery Group International, AT&T, SCP Consulting, CompuCredit, and Nortel Networks.
Peters serves on boards at Primeritus Financial Services Inc.; WNA Limited Co.; and Junior Achievement of Georgia, and also serves on the Atlanta Executive Invitation Only Advisory Council. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned a Master of Business Administration from California State University.
