Let Us Share Our Stories With You

Warriors Speak is a group of wounded veterans and caregivers who share their motivational stories of service and sacrifice to raise awareness for the needs of this generation’s injured military service members and their families. These stories highlight the impact Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) has had on each of their journeys and how advocating for other veterans and caregivers has transformed their lives.

By inviting a WWP™ speaker to your event, not only will you be inspiring your audience to create positive change in their lives, but you will also be helping us raise awareness for the military community so the public can better understand what these brave men and women — and their families — go through after they return from war.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our spokespeople attend conferences and are offered continuing education opportunities to hone their craft and remain in the forefront of the business and professional speaking circuit. When not on the road speaking, these highly trained professional storytellers give back by sharing their knowledge and skills with WWP public speaking training classes.

Warriors Speak-led warrior-and-family-focused public speaking trainings provide healing by allowing attendees to get their stories off their chests in a safe, comfortable environment while focusing on high-level presentation skills. We also provide similar training to WWP staff and volunteers to increase presentation capabilities and renew WWP’s focus on the use of storytelling principles.

$0 — Wounded Warrior Project provides our spokespeople free of charge. If desired, donations to WWP are always welcome in lieu of payment. Travel reimbursement is also appreciated, but never required.

Our professional speakers attend most types of events, from golf tournaments, school assemblies, and car shows to major conferences and conventions. To see if a speaker is available for your event, please request a speaker.

Just fill out our speaker request form and our team will get in touch with you asap.

Yes, you may request a specific spokesperson. You may also specify whether you would prefer a warrior or a family support member. That said, we cannot guarantee availability — so the more open you are in your request, the higher the likelihood we’ll be able to provide a speaker. Regardless, our team will do our best to match your event with the speaker we feel is the best fit.

We can accommodate in-person, virtual, or pre-recorded presentations.

Each speaker has a unique background and is an expert on a variety of topics. Our most popular topical speeches are leadership, building resilience, and overcoming adversity, but there is a long list of topics our team may be able to address. To find out if we can speak on another topic, please contact our team at warriorsspeak@woundedwarriorproject.org.

Wounded Warrior Project recognizes the importance of teaching the American public about the service, sacrifice, and recovery of our nation’s veteran population. Warriors Speak is 100% awareness-based — we seek to inform as many people as possible about the value of our veteran population and the impact WWP is making in their lives.

No. The Warriors Speak team is not a fundraising arm of WWP. We exist only to raise awareness for the organization's amazing impact on the lives of warriors and their families.
