Helping You Care for Your Veteran and Yourself

At Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), we know that when one person serves, the whole family and support system serves. That’s why we’re here to support you with the care you need and deserve, too.

Our programs can help you strengthen your own well-being — mentally, physically, and financially. Whether you need help navigating Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) caregiver benefits, managing everyday stress, exploring career options, or simply connecting with others who understand, we’re here to help. We’ve also teamed up with trusted partners to offer even more specialized support for families, loved ones, and caregivers.

Who Can Join as a Family Member or Loved One

Family looks different for everyone — and every part of a warrior’s support system matters. You don’t have to live together, be a spouse, or even be related by blood to register. If you’re someone a warrior trusts and relies on, you may be eligible to join.

Family members, close supporters, and caregivers of eligible warriors:

  • Post-9/11 veterans and active-duty service members
  • Active-duty service members and those who are transitioning

You don’t need to be related — just someone the warrior considers a close support person.

Your warrior does not need to be registered with WWP already.
