Wounded Warrior Project provides veterans disability benefits services to wounded warrior Thomas Kowolenko

In FY 2015, there were 14,028 disability issues filed for wounded warriors. WWP helped alumni secure $70.9 million in total veteran benefits in fiscal year 2015 and also helped secure $162.3 million in veteran benefits for warriors since the program’s inception

Navigating the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) benefits systems can be a complex process. The Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) Benefits Service team is staffed with experienced professionals dedicated to helping wounded warriors and family members obtain the benefits they earned. The Benefits Service program ensures warriors have the information and resources necessary to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families.

WWP provides advisory services to wounded warriors regarding their benefits, along with information on how to access services through the VA and DoD. WWP teammates work closely with each agency to walk warriors through every step of the claims process. When a claim is filed, WWP will make sure it is processed correctly and provide guidance through the process.

WWP is a VA-accredited organization and has experienced professionals to help veterans with their VA claims. If you are a wounded warrior or family member and need assistance with your VA or DoD benefits claim, please email or contact the WWP Resource Center.
