Operation Outreach

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) is dedicated to ensuring wounded veterans, their family members, and caregivers have access to the many free, life-changing programs, and services we offer. Every teammate at WWP including the CEO, makes monthly Operation Outreach calls to check in with active duty alumni, registered veterans, family members, and caregivers.

Isolation can be a dangerous enemy for a veteran in need of help. The goal of Operation Outreach is to let those we serve know we’re here to connect them with programs and services that will make a real impact in their lives. We want to ensure veterans are getting the help they need today, tomorrow and for a lifetime.

From October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016, WWP made 95,612 calls to registered warriors and family members resulting in 8,462 referrals to impactful programs.
