Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001. The Alumni program provides long-term support and camaraderie for wounded service members and veterans through free programs and events. No dues here - you paid those on the battlefield.

Family Support

When a service member is wounded, ill, or injured, these changes place tremendous stress on family members. These individuals are an integral part of an injured service member's successful recovery. WWP is dedicated to supporting families through Family Support.

Benefits include:

  • Programs and services to help your loved one receive the full range of support and benefits they deserve.
  • Alumni and family events, which provide the opportunity to engage in activities in a supportive environment of peers.

These documents are always free to obtain for the service member and family members. Requests can be processed online or by mail/fax. Follow the link below to complete the online form or to print the form and mail/fax it to the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC).
